Just another day......

Well this morning I got up with the kids and I was fixing breakfast and typically when I do this I let the kids play in the living room.....well they were playing and then I hear Rylan say "No Victoria don't touch that" so I yell what is she getting into....he yells back "she is touching my pee" I was like ewwwww don't let her do that it's gross.....but it's just one of those things kids do.....

Sorry I haven't updated in a couple of days....Things have been busy here.....Victoria had her therapy appointments and she qualifies for occupational, physical, and speech therapy......in fact they feel that she shouldve been having speech sooner then she has been.

Today we went to the ENT (ear nose and throat) doctor and he said he would not reccomend her having the ear tube surgery because her ears have cleared up and are looking amazing, but that if she starts getting nurmerous ear infections again that we will do it....now with her hearing loss that we found back when we lived in CT, and now that she is making more sounds but nothing that we can really understand, or that makes sense, and you have to increase your volume when you talk to her, unless you are next to her ear or close to it.......we may have to get hearing aids....we don't know yet...we have to get another hearing test done, and go from there

Update.....

Well this week has been busy....We were supposed to have Victoria's therapy appt. on Monday and Tuesday but we had to cancel them because Rylan was up all night Sunday vomitting....It was not a fun night at all.....But if I can be a proud Momma, he made it to the toilet everytime, so I had NO vomitt to clean up off the floor!!!! He was feeling better Monday afternoon but I didn't want to take a chance with Tuesday, because one of Victoria's therapist is due to have a baby any day and if he had the flu that could've been bad....so We did the therapy today....and findings are......Victoria needs speach therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy....she will have these for a couple of months and then we will re-evaluate. Hopefully the speach and occupational will help her oral motor skills and we will go from there.

We went looking at homes yesterday and I found one that I really really like so we are talking to the company to see if we can get some financing for it....I will update more on that when we know more....say a prayer for us because the quicker we get this house the quicker Anthony can get down here and be with his family again!!!!

Well i went out and got a web cam today, and set up a free skype account.....we chatted with our friends Rick, Lauren and baby Logan, the kiddos loved it! It was the coolest thing ever!.....

the craziest things happen in this house......

We generally have a bunch of jokesters that live in this house.....that being said....My step mom (aka Momma) has been sick in bed with the Flu since Friday, so we have been joking her and she has been yelling to us that she is lonley....and we just tend to laugh at her and go on with what we are doing.....well tonight I made yummy brownies and we were making sundaes out of them....well Daddy made one for Momma....and asked if I had gotten mine yet....I responded " Nope I just slaved over the hot stove making them but you all get to eat them" so he in turn went into the kitchen laughing his butt off and made me one.....well when he brought it to me I was like what not choco sauce....reject....so he took it back to the kitchen put choco sauce on it and brought it back....Well about 5 mins into eating my ice cream I noticed something white on my ice cream....I freak out and call my father back in the room at this point he is laughing and laughing.....I was like what did you put in my ice cream....his response, that's what you get for sending it back.....and he went on laughing.....btw it was Mayo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything here has been good...We were going to go to the fair this weekend, but its suppose to rain tomorrow so Rylan and I are going to the movies in a couple of weeks together.......other then that Monday we got for a Physical Therapy evaluation, and Tuesday we have Speech and Occupational therapy evaluation....I will update after those appointments, other then that about 2 or so months before we come home to spend the holidays as a family....much love to all of you

Thursday Update......

Well we have had a pretty uneventful week this week......The kids and I pretty much hung out at home all week, and have really enjoyed doing so! We went to town on Tuesday so that I could drop off an application to Gymboree and return a pair of shoes (as my feet are retaining water and staying a little on the swollen side don't know why). I got a call today from the physical therapist and Victoria goes in to see them on Monday. Today I took Rylan out to see my Dad and my grandfather in the field up the street as they are bailing hay......he loved it!!! He would've sat there all day and watch them bail hay if I let him! Well thats it for now when I have more to report I will write again....here are a few picture I thought you would enjoy!

Nothing going on.....

Well I really don't have anything to update today....The kiddos are both doing amazing....Victoria is sitting in her chair screaming as we speak as she gets fed, nothing unsual there....and Rylan is doing good....We are taking Rylan to the big Fair down here this Sunday so he should have a blast with that....he has been a really good boy lately so we (my dad, Momma, and I) figured he should be rewarded! I have applied for 2 more jobs, Sears and Jc Penny so we will see..... Well thats its for now!
